IKK presents Bio2Foam at LCM conference in Palermo

From 9 to 12 September 2025, Can Sönmez (Institute of Plastics and Circular Economy) attended the Life Cycle Management (LCM) Conference in Palermo. During the event, he gave a short presentation on the initial results of his research into the potential of bio-based global value chains as part of the Bio2Foam research project.

The biennial conference is a leading global platform for environmental, economic and social sustainability.

This year's event was held under the motto 'From Global to Local: Methods, Tools, and Best Practices for an Efficient and Effective Sustainable Transition'. Participation in the LCM conference highlights the importance of the IKK's research and its contribution to sustainable solutions in plastics and sustainability assessment.
